家具首先是立足于实用的世俗形式，但同时又承载着超越世俗的精神。哲学思想、美的追求、文人意趣等赋予了古代家具丰富的内涵。《唐代家具研究》一书通过对家具实物资料的详实展示，对其风格、审美、文化的深彻阐释，将唐代家具的真实面貌，审美风尚与雄心，以及重要的借鉴价值呈现在世人面前。展示着家具文化在一个转折与交汇的时代丰美的历史印记、高境界的造物理念与水准。弥补了家具断代研究的相对空白，具有重要的文献参考价值、承前启后的学术意义。
- Abstract:

Furniture is first based on the practical secular form, but at the same time bearing the spirit beyond the secular. Philosophical thoughts, the pursuit of beauty, literati interest, and so on, gave the ancient furniture rich connotation. The book of "Study of Furniture in Tang Dynasty" presents, by means of an elaborate illustration of the physical information of the furniture of Tang dynasty, and a detailed description of the style, aesthetic taste and culture. It shows the rich historical mark of furniture culture and the high level of creation concept and furniture production, which is of valuable reference with literature and academic significance.
